Terms of service
All available products are new and covered by warranty for manufacturing defects. In order to continuously improve the products manufactured, they may undergo changes without prior notice. The measurements of handcrafted products may have slight differences compared to the measurements indicated (specifically due to the artisanal nature of the product).
The ordered products are approximately shipped within 10 working days but as these are handcrafted products, in periods of high demand the order processing times could be longer.
Shipping takes place via express courier and delivery times in Italy are 24/48 hours - for islands and remote locations up to 72/96 hours (excluding weekends), these times are not mandatory as they are subject to external couriers who may have delays not attributable to their will.
Orders placed outside the European Community may be subject to customs checks and duties which are borne by the buyer.
Our trusted couriers are TNT, Bartolini, Sda, Poste Italiane, UPS, FedEx (depending on the destination area) but collection is also possible via a courier appointed by the buyer.
In the case of missing accessories in the package, you are asked to send photos of the package in the sealed envelope (to demonstrate the lack) in order to proceed with a new shipment.
In the event that the product packaging is damaged, accept the shipment by signing "subject to inspection" and taking photos of the packaging as soon as possible in which the damaged packaging is clearly visible. If the product is also damaged, take detailed photos of the damage and also of the internal part of the packaging and communicate it with a description of the damage within 5 days via email to palavesuvius@gmail.com attaching the photos. In the absence of conditional acceptance, it will not be accepted. It is possible to replace the product free of charge.
For the purchase of Vesuvius ovens, video proof of the product shipped and packaged intact will be sent; the customer who receives the oven must make a full video (without interruptions) of the opening of the package showing the product received so that it is clearly visible both external and internal part of the oven, in order to be able to take advantage of any refunds/insurance in the event that the product is damaged during transport.
